Fines for traffic offenses
While driving in Germany your drivers may be confronted with fines imposed by the police or administrative authorities (e.g. BAG). Our partner law firm in Germany will check if the fine is legal and if necessary defend you and/or your driver in a criminal or administrative procedure, for example:

Alleged violation of Art 8 Abs 8 VO (EG) 561/2006
In Germany, the authorities started to check for violations of the big weekly rest period of your drivers. As you know, the drivers are required to spend this time (48 hours) outside of the truck. Of course, this causes several issues for you and your driver. The authorities are required to check this violation on the spot. But in reality, they request documents to prove that your driver complied with that rule and was not in his cabin. We believe this practice is illegal. In these cases, we will defend you and your driver!
